Welcome! We have a new location! Roadside Academy, patterned after Hillsdale Academy in Michigan, is a private, co-educational day school offering kindergarten through eighth grade. Roadside Academy holds to the traditional values of our great American culture. We are nonsectarian, but we are freely guided by the moral code of Judeo-Christian tradition. We emphasize biblical values and virtues, encouraging politeness and manners, respect for the rights and property of others, common courtesy, and respect for those in authority. We educate the young in the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic using the tried and proven methods of teaching— including phonics, reading of great literature, and mathematics drill, following the successfully used Hillsdale Academy curriculum. People may say that the times have changed in so very many respects, however, at Roadside Academy, we still maintain small intimate class sizes, the teaching of traditional principles, the incorporating of values, ethics and moral character in the curriculum, and most of all, the pursuit of excellence in education. After 15 years of educating the future
world and local leaders of tomorrow, Roadside is moving to a new
location for September, 2010. We will be located at 30
Brooks Road in the school building next to Fellowship Church in
