Application Checklist:

1. We encourage you to call and arrange a preliminary visit to see if Roadside would be a good fit for your child.

2. Fill out the application for admission (pdf).

3. Provide report cards for the last two years.

4. Provide any special education reports, if applicable. Click here for record release form.

5. Applicants to kindergarten: Provide completed kindergarten teacher reference form.
    Applicants to grades 1-8: Provide completed teacher reference form.

6. Call to arrange a student visit. Student will need to have signed day visit (pdf) form when visiting.

7. After application and student visit has been completed, the school will make a determination and notify you whether or not the student is accepted at the school.

 *Please note that our kindergarten class is more on the level of first grade. Prospective kindergarten students will be evaluated in the spring to determine their readiness for kindergarten at Roadside Academy.


Tuition for 2010 - 2011 Academic Year

Kindergarten Half Day: $4,000
Kindergarten Full Day: $7,000
Grades 1-8: $7,500*

* The second or third child from the same family qualifies for a 10% tuition discount.

Note: Our building is accessible from Brooks Road or Saybrook Road.

From Route 9:
Take the Randolph Road exit, EXIT 11, toward CT-17/DURHAM. Turn right onto Randolph Road. Turn right onto Saybrook Road. Keep left to remain on Saybrook Road. Turn left into driveway for Fellowship Church. Roadside Academy building is on the right.

From Downtown Middletown:
Start out going SOUTHEAST on Main Street toward Pleasant Street. Main Street becomes Crescent Street. Crescent Street becomes Main Street Extension which becomes Saybrook Road. Stay on Saybrook Road for about 2 miles. Cross Randolph Road and stay left to continue on Saybrook Road. Turn left into driveway for Fellowship Church. Roadside Academy building is on the right.
